Molodyi Bukovynec
Molodyi Bukovynets is one of the most established local news outlets in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine. A multi-platform regional media brand, it publishes weekly print newspapers— reaching a substantial local readership— alongside its news website, molbuk.ua, and an active presence on social media platforms.
Molodyi Bukovynets reports on local government, community affairs, public services, and the daily life of the region, combining the reach and trust built over many years as a print title, with a growing digital and video offering on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok.
Like many regional outlets in Ukraine, it operates under mounting economic pressure, with print circulation and advertising in long-term decline. Nevertheless, Molodyi Bukovynets continues to invest in modern formats and audience engagement, and remains a key independent source of accurate, locally relevant information for its community.
With the support of the International Fund, Molodyi Bukovynec will continue its core editorial work while also expanding outreach among younger audiences (ages 25–35) and vulnerable populations, such as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
