Founded in the city of Rosario in 1867, La Capital is the oldest newspaper in Argentina still in circulation, earning it the title of Dean of the Argentine Press. Currently, it is the only print media outlet in the country's third most populous city and one of the leading news sites in central Argentina. La Capital seeks to strengthen its young audience by creating a free streaming news channel with engaging content. It also plans to boost its audiovisual division and hire key positions such as an audience analyst and a streaming consultant, among others.
