Fundo de Apoio ao Jornalismo

Fundo de Apoio ao Jornalismo (FAJ) is an initiative designed to strengthen the media ecosystem in Brazil which is fiscally sponsored by Instituto Incube. With our initial grant, a national fund was created to support public interest media outlets in Brazil, especially in the peripheries, where funding is most needed. IFPIM has renewed their support for FAJ, which in their second grant period will be exploring potential models to establish itself as an independent entity, creating and implementing a sustainability strategy and positioning FAJ as a valuable player in the local ecosystem.
