Fundo de Apoio ao Jornalismo

Fundo de Apoio ao Jornalismo is an initiative designed to strengthen the media ecosystem in Brazil which is fiscally sponsored by Instituto Incube and was originally coordinated by Associao de Jornalismo Digital (Ajor). With our grant, a national fund was created to support public interest media outlets in Brazil, especially in the peripheries, where funding is most needed. During the IFPIM grant period, the initial structure of the fund was developed and a pilot round of grants was launched to support independent media outlets.
