Agencia Pública

Agencia Publica (Brazil), founded in 2011, is a major non-profit newsroom in Brazil focused on investigative reporting and independent journalism. With the grant from the International Fund, Agencia Publica aims to strengthen journalism through Instituto Publica, which will offer a new guidebook, courses on ethical journalism, and establish Publica Fellows Network to support young, diverse reporters. Additionally, they plan to boost sustainability by generating revenue from their training school and developing Publica IQ, a tool to track and measure the impact of journalism, enhancing their ability to influence public discourse and societal change.
