How we make grants
The International Fund identifies media organizations for grant support through regular calls for proposals and through proactive outreach by regional staff. Eligibility for grant funding is assessed in terms of a media organization’s independence, public interest mission, eligible geographies, and alignment with the International Fund’s impact goals.Media organizations invited to submit grant proposals are evaluated by an independent panel of experts. Ultimate funding decisions are taken by the International Fund’s Governing Board.
