Rosie Vanek

Rosie leads the International Fund’s communications team, managing the public positioning of the Fund through its web presence, digital engagement, publications, media visibility and story content. Previously, she held communications roles at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the UN Refugee Agency, and the GlobalCommunity Engagement and Resilience Fund.

In these roles she led teams and campaigns focused on pandemics, the right to nationality, and community-based efforts tocounter violent extremism. Her background also includes work in broadcast journalism for PBS, MSNBC and CNN. Rosie holds master’s degrees from theColumbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the American FilmInstitute, bringing together strong reporting, visual storytelling and strategic communication skills.
