Helene de Villaine

Hélène de Villaine brings over 15 years of legal experience in both private practice and in-house roles, and oversees the International Fund’s legal matters across its governance arrangements, operations and investments.
Before joining IFPIM as General Counsel, Hélène served at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. In these roles, she advised on governance, complex contracting, grant management for a large international portfolio, policy development and public-private partnerships.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she contributed to the development and implementation of COVAX, the global mechanism designed to support equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines.
