Talanoa 'o Tonga

Talanoa 'o Tonga (ToT), meaning 'Stories of Tonga' in Tongan was established in 2021, but only actively published two years later. It's the first investigative news outlet in the small archipelago nation of just over 100,000 population. Founded by a veteran journalist, ToT has actively forged international collaborations with media development agencies and investigative journalism NGOs. The International Fund grant and strategic guidance would allow ToT to build a mid-to-long term plan outlining focus areas and priorities, identifyng and filling gaps in news.
