Amplify South Africa

Amplify South Africa is a continuation of the South Africa Media Innovation Programme (SAMIP), a media business capacity-building programme managed by the Media Development Investment Fund. Over six years, SAMIP supported 27 media outlets in the country with a mix of advisory services, training, and financial support. Amplify South Africa has received funding to continue this work, supporting a new cohort of independent media outlets with funding, coaching, workshops, and training to help them develop the tools and skills needed to experiment with different revenue and audience-generation opportunities.
