International Federation of Journalists (IFJ)

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) is a leading organization representing journalists worldwide and has a longstanding collaboration with the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate (PJS), its affiliate in Palestine. IFJ is actively supporting media reform efforts in Palestine and aims to support the Palestinian Media Sector Coordinating Group (PMSCG) which was launched in April, to lead the rehabilitation of the media sector and to initiate the process of establishing a national fund for media. The support from the International Fund is crucial given the current crisis in Palestine. The grant will strengthen independent media, support coalition-building, and ensure that reliable, unbiased information continues to reach the public during these challenging times.
