International Federation of Journalists (IFJ)

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) is a leading organisation representing journalists worldwide and has a longstanding collaboration with the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate, its affiliate in Palestine. The IFJ actively supports media reform efforts in Palestine and works to support the Palestinian Media Sector Coordinating Group, launched in 2024, to lead the rehabilitation of the media sector and to initiate the process of establishing a national fund for media. The IFJ has received funding to strengthen independent media, support coalition-building, and help ensure that reliable, unbiased information continues to reach the public during a time of acute crisis in Palestine.
