El Deber

Founded in 1953, El Deber is a media outlet based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra which provides comprehensive coverage through its traditional print edition and its online platforms, social networks, streaming, and radio.  El Deber seeks to transform its business model and adapt to the changing demands of the market, especially seeking to connect with a young audience and focusing on audiovisual content. The International Fund will support El Deber’s work to launch an audiovisual channel, develop a digital-first strategy and work on its internal culture to increase audience engagement and visibility.
